Kenya Experience is a running camp in Iten Kenya organised by Running Trips. Our running camps provide an inspirational location, expert coaching and a supportive group environment for runners of all levels.
We offer camps open to runners of all levels from across the world as well as private group bookings for schools, clubs, or groups of friends. See the dates of our open camps below or email us to enquire about your private group.
With an emphasis on doing it ‘the Kenyan way’ the camps include guided runs, practical workshops and an exciting itinerary outside of the actual training. You will meet and learn from top Kenyan runners and coaches and interact with the local community in Iten, under the guidance of our expert staff.

Camp Recap – August Training Focus Weeks
17 guests joined our August Training Focus Weeks camp, including two who had been with us for the August Kenya Experience Original camp the two weeks previously, giving them a 4 week ultimate training experience.
Camp Recap – August 2019 Kenya Experience Original
Our Kenya Experience Original camps always bring together enthusiastic runners from all over the world and this camp was no different as 13 guests from 8 different countries joined us to train with professional coaches and experience the famous running culture here in Iten. Mixed weather conditions at the beginning of the two weeks meant we had to be adaptive with training but that didn’t stop us from getting a real taste of Kenyan style running.
Camp Recap – Westlake Boys High School
14 high school cross country and distance track boys from Westlake School joined us for a private Kenya Experience camp in Iten to get a taste of Kenyan style running, train with professional coaches and to see some of the greatest runners in the world at work. We love working with Westlake School and this was the third time we have hosted them for a 10 day running camp.
